Severance generates three Souls, including one directly to the hand, allowing for an immediate HP loss trigger and two future procs. This provides a significant damage boost that bypasses enemy Block through consistent Soul play.
Devour Life
This power grants a Summon trigger every time a Soul is played, making Severance a triple-proc for Osty's health and shield. The distribution of Souls across all piles ensures Osty stays protected throughout the entire deck cycle.
Soul Storm
Since Souls typically exhaust upon use, Severance rapidly fills the Exhaust Pile with the three Souls it creates. This significantly increases the damage scaling of Soul Storm, turning it into a powerful late-combat finisher.
