💡 How to Use
Tear Asunder acts as a high-scaling finisher in decks that utilize self-damage mechanics to gain an advantage. It is best played later in combat after several HP loss triggers have increased its hit count, especially when paired with Strength buffs.
⚡ Synergies
Rupture
Rupture grants Strength every time you lose HP, which synergizes perfectly with an attack that gains hits from that same HP loss. This creates a dual-scaling threat where both the number of hits and the damage per hit increase simultaneously.
Offering
Offering provides a guaranteed HP loss trigger to increase hit count while granting the Energy needed to play this 2-cost attack. The draw also helps find Tear Asunder or other self-damage enablers in the same turn.
Self-Forming Clay
This relic provides defensive compensation by granting Block whenever you lose HP, making the aggressive self-damage required for this card much safer. It allows you to build up the hit count of Tear Asunder without leaving yourself vulnerable to enemy attacks.
