Feel No Pain is a core defensive engine for the Ironclad that converts the Exhaust mechanic into consistent survivability. It is most effective in decks that frequently remove cards from play, allowing the player to mitigate damage while thinning their deck for more powerful draws.
Corruption
Corruption causes all Skills to Exhaust upon use, which triggers Feel No Pain for every defensive or utility card played. This synergy allows the player to generate massive amounts of Block for zero energy cost.
Dark Embrace
This card draws a card whenever an Exhaust trigger occurs, ensuring the player has more cards to play or exhaust. When paired with Feel No Pain, the player gains both defensive stability and the resources needed to continue the Exhaust cycle.
Fiend Fire
This Attack exhausts the player's entire hand to deal damage, which can trigger Feel No Pain multiple times in a single action. It effectively turns an aggressive finishing move into a massive defensive burst that can block most incoming attacks.
Charon's Ashes
This relic deals damage to all enemies whenever a card is exhausted, mirroring the defensive benefit of Feel No Pain with offensive output. Together, they ensure that every Exhaust trigger contributes to both survival and ending the encounter quickly.
Second Wind
This Skill exhausts all non-Attack cards in hand to provide Block, and Feel No Pain adds additional Block for every card removed this way. This combination can generate a massive amount of Block from a hand full of status cards or basic Skills.
