Energy Surge is a potent support skill that provides a net energy gain for the user while significantly boosting the resources of all allies in a team setting. It is best utilized to accelerate the deployment of high-cost Power cards or to fuel massive X-cost finishers early in a combat encounter.

Meteor Strike
Energy Surge helps bridge the gap to the high energy requirement of Meteor Strike, allowing the player to channel Plasma orbs much earlier than usual. This creates a powerful cycle where the initial surge leads to permanent energy generation for the rest of the fight.
Ice Cream
This relic ensures that the extra energy generated by the surge is never wasted if the current hand lacks expensive plays. It allows the Defect to bank the surplus energy to facilitate a massive combo turn later in the encounter.
