Double your Energy.
Double Energy is most effective when the player already has a high base energy pool from Plasma or relics, allowing for exponential energy growth. It should be used as a setup tool to enable massive 'X' cost finishers or to play multiple high-cost Power cards in a single turn.
Meteor Strike
Meteor Strike has a high cost of 5 that Double Energy helps reach, and the 3 Plasma Orbs it channels provide a massive energy base for future doubling.
Tempest
As an 'X' cost card, Tempest's power scales directly with available energy; doubling your energy pool effectively doubles the number of Lightning Orbs channeled.
Ice Cream
This relic allows energy to be conserved between turns, letting the player bank a large amount of energy that can then be multiplied to astronomical levels.
Multi-Cast
Double Energy provides the massive 'X' value needed to evoke an orb dozens of times, which is particularly game-ending when used with a Dark Orb or Plasma Orb.
Echo Form
Playing Double Energy twice via Echo Form quadruples your current energy, enabling the most expensive combos in the Defect's kit in a single turn.
