Storm

Storm channels Lightning whenever a Power is played, and Zap helps rotate these orbs to trigger their Evoke effects faster. This combination allows the Defect to flood the board with Lightning orbs and maximize passive damage output.

Defragment

Defragment provides Focus, which directly increases the passive and evoke damage of the Lightning orb generated by Zap. This scaling turns a basic utility skill into a significant source of damage that persists throughout the combat.

Gold-Plated Cables

This relic triggers the rightmost orb's passive ability an additional time, doubling the effectiveness of a newly channeled Lightning orb from Zap. It ensures that even a single Zap play contributes meaningful damage every turn it remains in the active slot.

Tesla Coil

Tesla Coil triggers all Lightning passive effects against a single enemy, making every orb channeled by Zap more valuable for burst turns. It allows the player to convert the setup provided by Zap into a concentrated strike to finish off high-priority targets.

Data Disk

Starting combat with Focus ensures that the very first Zap played has increased impact without requiring additional setup. This synergy helps the Defect maintain health in the early turns by ending fights faster through boosted orb damage.
