Defragment

Data Disk

Data Disk provides an immediate point of Focus at the start of combat, which stacks with Defragment to reach high scaling thresholds faster. This combination allows Frost orbs to provide significant block and Lightning orbs to deal substantial chip damage from the very first turn.

Echo Form

Echo Form allows the first card played each turn to be played twice, effectively doubling the Focus gain from Defragment. Since Focus is a permanent buff for the duration of the combat, this interaction provides massive long-term scaling for a single card draw.

Storm

Storm channels a Lightning orb whenever a Power is played, turning Defragment into both a scaling tool and an immediate offensive trigger. The Focus gained from Defragment then immediately increases the passive damage of the Lightning orb created by the Power play.

Mummified Hand

As Defragment is a Power card, playing it triggers Mummified Hand to reduce the cost of another card in hand to 0. This helps the Defect maintain tempo and play defensive or offensive cards while simultaneously setting up their long-term Focus scaling.

Capacitor

Focus increases the value of each individual orb, so having more orb slots via Capacitor multiplies the total benefit of the Focus gained. A deck with high Focus and many orb slots becomes nearly untouchable behind Frost orbs or incredibly lethal with Lightning.
