Deal 5 damage twice.
Play a random Attack from your Draw Pile.
Uproar is strongest in decks containing high-impact, high-cost attacks like Meteor Strike or Sunder, as it allows you to bypass their energy requirements entirely. To maximize its value, use deck manipulation or thinning to ensure the random pull from your Draw Pile consistently hits your most powerful offensive options.
Meteor Strike
Uproar can pull Meteor Strike from the Draw Pile, bypassing its 5-energy cost to provide immediate damage and 3 Plasma Orbs. This interaction allows for massive energy acceleration much earlier in a combat than normally possible.
Sunder
Pulling Sunder with Uproar deals high burst damage for free, and if the pulled Sunder kills an enemy, it grants a net energy gain. This makes Uproar an effective tool for maintaining offensive momentum while conserving energy for Powers.
Echo Form
When duplicated by Echo Form, Uproar deals four instances of damage and pulls two separate attacks from your Draw Pile. This creates a massive chain of actions that can rapidly deplete your Draw Pile and overwhelm enemies.
Akabeko
Since Uproar hits twice, the Vigor bonus from Akabeko is applied to both instances of damage, doubling the relic's value. Additionally, if the pulled attack is also a multi-hit card, the front-loaded damage on turn one becomes extremely potent.
Pen Nib
Uproar counts as one card play and the attack it pulls from the Draw Pile counts as a second, allowing you to stack the Pen Nib counter twice as fast. This helps you reach the double-damage proc quickly, ideally timing it for a heavy-hitting pulled attack.
