Voltaic is a high-impact scaling skill that excels in decks capable of generating Lightning orbs rapidly, serving as a mid-to-late combat finisher. Its effectiveness grows exponentially, making it most valuable after playing several low-cost Lightning generators or multi-channeling cards.
⚡ Synergies
Storm
Storm channels Lightning for every Power played, which rapidly inflates the count Voltaic uses to determine its effect. This synergy allows a Power-heavy deck to reach a critical mass of Lightning orbs very early in a fight.
Tempest
Tempest provides a large burst of Lightning channeling in a single action, which Voltaic can then immediately double. This combination is perfect for filling all orb slots and triggering a massive wave of Evoke effects in one turn.
Thunder
Since Voltaic often channels more orbs than the player has slots, it triggers multiple Evokes simultaneously. Thunder capitalizes on this by dealing AoE damage for every Lightning orb pushed out of the queue.
