💡 How to Use
Piercing Wail is a premier defensive tool against multi-hit attacks and groups of enemies, effectively reducing incoming damage to zero for a single turn. It is best saved for high-frequency attack patterns where flat Strength reduction provides the highest value per energy spent.

Burst
Using Burst allows you to play Piercing Wail twice, doubling the Strength reduction to -12 for all enemies. This combination can completely nullify massive multi-hit attacks from bosses or elite enemies.
Well-Laid Plans
Retaining Piercing Wail ensures you can deploy its massive damage reduction on the exact turn an enemy uses a multi-hit attack. This prevents the card from being drawn and wasted on turns where enemies are only buffing or using single heavy hits.
Paper Krane
