Add 2 Inky Shivs into your Hand.
Blade of Ink is most effective in decks that can generate a high volume of low-cost attacks, particularly Shivs, in a single turn. It should be played at the beginning of a turn to maximize the temporary Strength gain for every subsequent attack played.
Blade Dance
Blade Dance provides three 0-cost Shivs, which immediately translate into 6 temporary Strength when played after Blade of Ink. This allows the Silent to turn a low-cost skill into a massive damage multiplier for a single burst turn.
Storm of Steel
This card can convert an entire hand into Shivs, potentially triggering Blade of Ink's Strength gain five or more times in one sequence. The exponential damage growth makes it possible to take down high-HP enemies in a single turn.
Burst
Playing Burst before Blade of Ink doubles the effect, granting 4 Strength for every attack played that turn instead of 2. This synergy creates an overwhelming amount of damage scaling that makes even basic Strikes or Shivs hit for massive numbers.
Shuriken
While Blade of Ink provides temporary burst Strength, Shuriken provides permanent Strength scaling for every three attacks played. Together, they allow the player to benefit from massive immediate damage while simultaneously building long-term power for the rest of the fight.
Ninja Scroll
Starting combat with three Shivs in hand ensures that Blade of Ink has immediate fuel to be effective on turn one. This helps the Silent set up a powerful opening move to eliminate minions or heavily damage bosses before they can act.
